November 3, 2023 (Miami, FL) – Today, world-renowned producer/artist Marshmello releases his debut album, “Sugar Papi” – a heartfelt and danceable tribute to his love of  Latino culture and its rhythms. The Latin GRAMMY® nominated hitmaker “travels” throughout Latin American countries with explosive collaborations that fuse his musical signature with sounds and artists from all over the region, spanning from Argentina to Puerto Rico. The concept for the album came as a second nature for Marshmello, who as a child visited various latin countries which influence him to this day. “Sugar Papi'' is available on all digital and streaming platforms today.

“Sugar Papi” showcases Marshmello’s uncanny ability to cross all of these subgenres in Latin and produce eleven exceptionally curated tracks and boasts a star-studded lineup which includes: Young Miko, Nicky Jam, Farruko, Anuel AA, Manuel Turizo, Fuerza Regida, Polimá WestCoast, Tiago PZK, ChocQuibTown, Luisa Sonza, Lil Cake, and Brray.

Transcending into an electronic-fused reggaeton, the album’s focus track “Alcohol” featuring Anuel AA pairs sinister synthesizers with a melancholic reggaeton beat, perfectly encapsulating Marshmello’s innate ability to spotlight any genre with a one-of-a-kind twist. Reggaeton is also highlighted in “Tusi” alongside Lil Cake and Brray. In the trance-tinged “Super High,” the Chilean rapper Polimá WestCoast takes a dive into Marshmello’s electronic fantasy, merging the best of both worlds. “Say Woah!” introduces Latin urban superstar Nicky Jam as he marks his indisputable presence on the reggaeton fusion.

The Colombian super trio ChocQuibTown continues the electronic dance party with “Donde Esta Que No Los Veo,” boasting a bachata-influenced dance track. “Sugar Papi” concludes with the standout Portuguese song, “Sou Musa Do Verão,” sung by Luisa Sonza. The track displays a unique blend of classic Brazilian funk elements with electronic synths, highlighting a hypnotic trap breakdown to close out the track.

In its repertoire, the album also highlights previously released singles “Tempo,” “El Merengue,” “Como Yo :(” and “Esta Vida.” Showcasing the talent of today’s most prominent emerging breakout artists, Marshmello recruited Puerto Rican star Young Miko for an innovative Latin trap fusion with a Jersey Club flair on “Tempo,” and teamed up with the Argentine star Tiago PZK for the nostalgic heartbreak anthem, “Como Yo :(.” Earlier this year, the global hitmaker also celebrated the mega releases of “Esta Vida” with Farruko (which has amassed over 140 million worldwide combined streams) and “El Merengue” with Manuel Turizo, accumulating over 657 million combined streams. The global smash hit also notably earned Marshmello’s first #1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart, his first ever Latin GRAMMY® nomination for the 24th edition of the award ceremony, and led the international superstar to take home his first ever Crossover Artist of the Year award at the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
